During hypnosis, your conscious mind is relaxed and open to receive positive suggestions and directions directly into your subconscious mind. Hypnotic suggestions bypass the intellectual mind (the conscious mind) and zero in on the subconscious. When given a new suggestion that is within the bounds of a person’s belief system and moral orientation, the subconscious mind accepts it literally as a new reality. There are certain abilities which are enhanced during the actual hypnotic process itself: the ability to imagine, the ability to remember, the creative abilities, and responsiveness to suggestions.

No. You are in control at all times. You can accept or reject any or all of the suggestions. Your sub-conscious is there to protect you. You have to consciously want to do whatever it is that brought you in to be hypnotized.
Usually there is no special feeling, just a deep relaxation. Some people may feel heaviness. Some may feel lightness or a floating sensation. Others may feel tingling sensations. There also may be a feeling of euphoria. Since everyone is different and experiences hypnotic relaxation at different levels, don’t be surprised if you don’t "feel" hypnotized. During hypnosis, which is actually focused awareness, you may hear the hypnotist’s voice and other sounds fade in and out. If you feel relaxed and are focused, you are most likely hypnotized.
